Message	@ Red Hawk - Good idea. But there are no mechanics near me that I would trust for ANY work on a car. The few here are sketchy at best. @ Multi_Read - it is a different sound than a fan clutch. My guess is more of a pulley bearing sound. Also with belts off (water pump too which drives the fan clutch w/fan) the noise is still there. Thanks for the ideas though.
